The Native Project features Indigenous-inspired artworks that capture the meaning, beauty and struggles of indigeneity. What wisdom can be imparted, what does ‘native’ mean to younger generations or displaced people who lack a deep connection to place? For many Indigenous Peoples, land is the medium on which they craft an artful existence in reverence to Nature. Upholding land rights for Indigenous Peoples — enabling them to carry on as protectors of the planet’s remaining biological richness — is in all of our interest. For this reason, proceeds from the Native Project support our non-profit partner, Cultural Survival.
