This mini-print is piece is floated on long-life cotton matte, framed by hand in hard wood and covered with museum-grade UV-blocking glass.

This is a signed, limited edition work that is #4 of 50. The agave plant is a symbol of long life, health and fertility. A quiote is the stalk that shoots up from an agave plant when it’s ready to reproduce, and signals the eventual death of the agave plant. For the Nahuatl, the original inhabitants of western Mexico, the agave plant was worshipped, representing goddess Mayaheul’s earthly power of wind, rain and crops.  This mini-print of the agave plant titled — Quiote — was first carved onto a piece of wood and then pressed against the surface of archival 100% cotton paper to print this unique work of art. This mini-print piece is floated on long-life cotton matte, framed by hand in hard wood and covered with museum-grade UV-blocking glass. For questions or more information, please write contact@artivist.global
