This is a signed, limited edition work that is #7 of 10. This unique work of art was first carved onto a piece of wood and then pressed against the surface of archival 100% cotton paper to make a unique print. Alan Altamirano is a leading practitioner of the traditional Mexican woodcut relief printing practice — xilografÃa — employed throughout Mexican society for social & political commentary, an original form of Artivism.
